Hey everyone! This is my first attempt at a blog so please consider it a VERY early work in progress. :)
I really think this is a neat idea and plan to use this as informal communication with co workers and parents. Please feel free to post ideas and comments on my blog page.

- I live in Franklin, Tn with my husband, my father-in-law, and two daughters. My family is perfect. :) My youngest begins high school in a few weeks and my oldest is attending Belmont U. and getting married next June (yes- I am a MOB). I have been teaching for about 12 years, but it still feels like I am a new teacher. I come from a family of educators (principals, coaches, a band director, a choir director, a director for FEMA, teachers, a director for Tx Music educators and even a superintendant). I am currently working on continuing education classes. It is so fun to learn new ideas, especially for integrating technology into the curriculum. My job is very satisfying. 6 year olds can teach you everything you need to know about life...
My family is full of educators as well. We are teaching from Tn. to Indana. I like your blog. It is nice and neat!

I'm into the going green movement too! I like it. My wife and I are the first teachers in our families. We enjoy it so much. Our oldest daughter is going to college this Fall and our youngest is starting high school.( like yours). Good luck.
